Suggest Remedies For Chronic Impetigo On My Face

I had a very bad impetigo on my face and it has been over a year and I am noticing that my nose is red. The skin around the holes of the nose is always red. Some people tell me that those might be broke capillaries, but I think it is from the impetigo. When I checked websites it says that the impetigo should clear up within the month. It has been more than a year. I went to the doctor and they gave me some bactroban and creams like that which didn't work. I tried vit E oil but I see no improvement. Please tell me what I should do.
