Suggest Remedies For Deep Cut On My Finger

I was trimming fat from meat with a very share knife, and sliced index finger second knuckle outside causing tissue removal. Unable to locate missing tissue. approx size of a dime about 1/8 inch thick. Excessive bleeding under control at the moment. Need wound dressing procedure please.
