Suggest Remedies For Draining Of Cellulitis On My Upper Lip

I have cellulitis that has affected my upper lip. I am on bactrim ds and have a follow up appointment tomorrow. The is a ball like buildup in my mouth under the infected area. It has begun to drain into my mouth. I understand that draining is part of the healing process, but is it ok to swallow? What should I do?
