Suggest Remedies For Itchy And Flaky Skin On My Right Nipple

Hey doctor. I'm 20 and abt 2 weeks ago developed an itch and flaky skin on my right nipple & right aerola. Just this week my mom gave me some steroid cream. It doesn't itch but there's dark patches where the itch used to be. I have a family history of breast cancer. I'm quite worried and unsure of what to do and how long to wait, whether to see a dr or not. Pls help...
