Suggest Remedies For Pain And Pressure In Nail Beds

When I was little I used nail tools excessively to the point wher I ruined my nail bed. Now it is starting to act up again and is extremely sensitive and painful. It is cut extremely low, but hurts worse when it grows out because the skin is tough underneath I and creates a lot of pressure. What should I do?
