Suggest Remedy For Abnormal Menstrual Bleeding

Hello...i m 39 yrs of age,mother of two..have been taking ayurvedic medicine ayapon to cure white discharge as suggested by my doc....did not have periods for past two months.....but this month got them but almost 9 days now...it stop and restrats again....not too heave bleeding..
but its very irritating....i stay in africa....pls help with some home remedy or medicine to stop.periods..
