Suggest Remedy For Aches And Pain From The Hips To Foot

My left leg aches and hurts from hip to foot. This pain hurts even more when I am trying to sleep. I can t lay on either side. The only way I can lay is on my back with my knees bent. I take ibuprofen pm at bedtime and during the day I take 3 ibuprofens to help reduce the pain. Nothing actually takes all the pain away it only helps to alleviate it. My right leg hurts this way only occasionally. My back gives me problems from time to time and is getting more often I am told it could be a sciatic nerve. Any suggestions?
