Suggest Remedy For Acid Reflux, Low Red Platelets And Extreme Fatigue

My son has acid reflux and recently had a endoscopy and biopsies that confirmed chronic inflammation. He still gets onset of headaches, fatigue, abdominal cramps. He had stool biopsies plus a complete workup for blood tests. His red platelets were low. The gastroenterologist thought it was due to autoimmune disorder but the biopsies did not show that. She wants him to wait a couple of months and see her again. His symptoms are continuing. He had to take this semester off from college. Could he have something else or need further testing? He tries to sleep but still is not refreshed. Gets tired all the time, headaches and complains about not being able to think clearly calls it brain fog?
