Suggest Remedy For Big Dark Bruise With Small Lump On Arm

My daughter had a small,light bruise on her arm from someone grabbing her too tightly(which has already been reported), it has been a couple days since I looked at it and now it is a big darker bruise with a small lump where the original small bruise was. What does this mean?
