Suggest Remedy For Black Colored Cheek Skin Due To Burning

hi, i heard that garlic was known to get rid of darkk spots, so i put garlic juice on my cheek, where the spots were and it burnt my skin,it has now healed but the skin around that area has turned slightly black. will this go away??? or i have to stay like this forever? how long will it take to go away
