Suggest Remedy For Bleeding And Cramps After IUD Removal

I am a 55 year old woman. I had an IUD removed 18 months ago, which I had for the allotted 5 years. I am pre-diabetic but otherwise, healthy. My doctor put me on a low dose prempro when the IUD got removed. I have not had any unusual bleeding until recently. I have been bleeding for 5 days with some cramping also. I was told about 6 years ago, before the IUD, that I had a cyst on one of my ovaries. I had some VERY heavy bleeding and had to have an internal ultrasound, which detected the cyst. The day of my surgery, my doctor got the flu and had to cancel the surgery. Before rescheduling, the doctor wanted to redo the ultrasound and at that point, told me the cyst was gone. I am very concerned that maybe I have a cyst again. could this be the case? Or do I have nothing to worry about?
