Suggest Remedy For Bleeding In Rectum Post Fracturing The Ribs

Hi My husband is 73 years old. Almost 9 days ago he fells downs the stairs; he went to see his doctor, who told him there were some frature ribs; probably 3 or 4. He was sent home with a mild pain killer. An hour ago he is having blood through his rectum. We called the doctor to ask him what to do? I m somehow upset, that he wasn t sent for some x rays....
