Suggest Remedy For Bleeding Toe Nail

I have stubbed my big toe badly. I have fake toe nails on that were done at a salon and now the fake nail has ripped my real toe nail almost off. It has been bleeding on and off, and now there is puss under the nail. I have been soaking my foot in salt water and applying some antiseptic and bandaging. Is there something else I should do? Will my toe nail fall off?
