Suggest Remedy For Blockage In Ear

I had a cold about 2+ weeks ago and after it was finished, my left ear stayed plugged up. I tried Debrox and Peroxide and finally went to an urgent care. The Dr gave me Prednizone which I took for 5 days and it still did not clear. Back at the Urgent care the Dr looked and said my eardrum looked a little swollen but not red so he gave me Amoxicillin which I finished yesterday and it's still plugged. I tried peroxide again this morning, I have no pain.
