Suggest Remedy For Blood Blisters On Skin

Hi, I got bit by something last night. It was a blood blister looking when I went to bed and when I got up the site of the bite was less red but now I have black and purple like bruising around the bite? It currently doesn't hurt but I was wondering what could have bit me and should I worry or possible go to the ER?
