Suggest Remedy For Boil Between Scrotum And Anus

I have some type of boil between my scrotum and anus. This is the second time it has become irritated, although not horribly painful or itchy. Last time it became irritated, it popped (over six months ago) and discharged a puss-type, somewhat bloody mixture then went away in a few days. Haven't noticed anything since then until the other day when it became itchy and has come to be swollen and irritated again and seemingly ready to pop. I'm a little concerned over this, but based on some research I did it seems like this is not uncommon or that big of a deal. Thoughts?
