Suggest Remedy For Brown Spot Caused By Insect Bite

i found a very small black insect w/a tiny bit of white on one side on my body. i pulled it off w/bit of difficulty, but the interesting thing is it left me with a brown mole-type mark about the size of a dime. any ideas as to what the insect was, if i should be concerned. thank you.
