Suggest Remedy For Bruised Toenail

Hi. My toenail has already fallen off once and took a good year and a half to grow back. Well now the nail bed is bruised again and I know it's only a matter of time before this one goes too. Will another nail grow back? Because i heard once it falls off and grows back, if its damaged again and falls off it wont grow back another time.
