Suggest Remedy For Bumps On Penis

I have a bump at the base of my penis in the pubic area about the color of my skin and was hard to see untill i put a flash light up to it and i peeled it and it just bleeds and there is two of them i left the other one alone. What is it? No puss or fluids just blood. I talked to a woman at the health department over the phone and she said didn't sound like anything to worry about. Im curious.
