Suggest Remedy For Chalazion Cyst Getting Bigger

tonight I have been diagnosed with a chalazion cyst on my eyelid and in the last hour it has seemed to centralise and get bigger. It is sore and now feels like something is in my eye. Should I be concerned about this change? Also I have been referred to have the cyst surgically removed. can this be done under slight sedation?
