Suggest Remedy For Chronic Cough

I have a chronic cough that feels like it is in my windpipe. Sometimes I do cough up mucus usually clear but sometimes a little green. Have had a course of antibiotics bu these have not rally helped. Can you suggest anything to help soothe this
