Suggest Remedy For Cold And Cough After Colonoscopy

Hi I have a colonoscopy on Friday, last week I had a cold, cough and sore throat. I have no cold or sore throat now but do have a cough mainly caused by phlem thats why I m coughing. Can I still have this procedure? I don t want to waste anyones time but also I have been waiting a long time for the appointment.
