Suggest Remedy For Constant Mucus In Throat

I have constant mucus in my throat and it is always the worst in the morning. I do not always have a sore throat associated with it but I have had one for a few days now. The constant mucus is really starting to get annoying. I wake up every morning and have to cough up snot.
