My mother has these dark, burn-like round scars of varying sized from the size of a pea to about the size of a golfball. They began about a year or so ago due to an allergic reaction to dyed plastic. Now every time she s in a location where cleaning products are used, she must touch a colored plastic item, or she wears any clothing that rubs against her skin, she will experience a wave of heat washing over her entire body and blisters will form somewhere on her body, usually her back, stomach, or the knuckles of her fingers. These blisters tend to then leave the burn-like scars. Doctors have said that it was contact dermatitis, but I have seen images of it and they do not match at ALL with what my mom has.
