Suggest Remedy For Crusted Sores On Face With Puss Pockets

My husband had a fungal infection several years ago. There were 7 or 8 raised sores above and below his lips. They had numerous pus pockets in each sore. He now has one sore that looks just like the ones several years ago. The doctors are treating it as though it is bacteria. The culture came back negative. The oral pencillin, topical pencillin, pencillin shot has done nothing for it. They refuse to give him a steroid because they say it is not staph. He developed cellulitis on his leg a few days ago and different doctors are giving him bactrum. It's a little better but the sore on his face that was almost crusted over is developing pus pockets again. My husband is 61 and is on Crestor, Plavix, several blood pressure medicines.
