Suggest Remedy For Dark And Dry Lips

hi doc my lips are very dark and dry. even black at the edges its gets better when i apply mint but after an hour or so they get to be the same. i am having this problem from my childhood. is there any surgery or creams. i hv tried every thing but no gud results.
