Suggest Remedy For Dark Brown Blob Behind Ear

i have this dark brown blob behind my ear,it does not feel raised or sore,but i am a little concerned,i descovered it about 4 years ago,i thought it was just a mole,but occasionally,a bit of brown comes off when i wipe with a cotton bud,what can this be?
