Suggest Remedy For Dark Skin Around The Lips

I am 57 yr old female.The area around my lips are black for the past 3 week.I have a habit of bitinng lips.When i consulted doctor in india he said that this is due to salaiva touching lips and advised me to apply momoz cream, but it did not work .Pls kindly advise.
