Suggest Remedy For Darkened Skin From Sun Burn

Hi Doctor
4 days ago,i got badly sun burnt/Wind burn from being a the ocean.My neck and chest are really bad,as years and years ago i got burnt there again,which left my skin dark and a circle around my chest area from my t-shirt i had on.
At the moment i am using aloe vera gel,i havent started peeling yet.Is there some sort of a lightening cream i can later put on my skin,to get rid of these crepy dark patches,which i think will be alot worse now,as its the second time of being burnt in the same area.
