Suggest Remedy For Delayed Periods And Negative Pregnancy Result

I last menstruated on the 25th of November. I was supposed to get my period on 26th December and still haven't got it. I am 15 days late. I was sexually active from 29 November to 2nd December. However I used protection and also took a home pregnancy test which had a negative result. What could be causing the delay?
