Suggest Remedy For Diarrhea After Taking Azithromycin

Hi, I was wondering if you could help. I visited a clinic today to get treatment for chlamydia. I was given 1 dose x2 500mg Azithromycin and took it at lunchtime with a meal as advised. However a few hours later I now have diarrhoea. Will it still work effectively? Also would I be able to take norflox tz to stop the diarrhoea?
