Suggest Remedy For Difficulty In Consuming Food Due To Chronic Air Swallowing Problem

I'm a chronic air swallower. I had hiatal hernia surgery one week ago. I'm having difficulty consuming food due to this chronic condition. It was a horrible problem during pregnancy, and I thought once I stopped having children, this would stop--but no way! Sometimes I feel I will choke to death. It's a stupid problem, because the surgery was successful, I took it well and should feel great. But I'm miserable!
