Suggest Remedy For Difficulty In Swallowing Post Upper GI Bleed

my 86 year old mother had an upper gi bleed recently and has been having trouble with eating and drinking even water to take pills with and now is having trouble with completing the act of swallowing she says it comes back up but not like throwing up.
