Suggest Remedy For Discomfort In Ears After Poking The Eardrum

I was cleaning my ears with q-tip (I think 2 days ago) and accidentally must have poked my eardrum. I had pain at first which then went away. It still doesn't feel totally normal, but no pain - just feels a little strange. Do you think I should just give it a few days and then I will be ok?
