Suggest Remedy For Dry Cough Post Recovery From Flu?

I had the flu starting on December 13. I am still left with shakiness, feel less energetic, and feel like I need to cough to clear my chest because it feels tight or like I need to cough to get a deep breath but it is a. Dry cough. Dr put me on a steroid, albuterol, and tamiflu on the 15th. Then a few days later developed real thick yellow green mucous so she put me on augmentin-still have a couple days left. Why am I still feeling this way? Do I need go go back to the dr again?
