Suggest Remedy For Enlarged Adenoids And Tonsils

At what point should my 6 year old get her adenoids and tonsils removed? She hasn t been able to breathe through her nose for several months and her snoring is so loud it often wakes her at night. I have given her allergy meds daily and nothing is helping.
