Suggest Remedy For Extremely Painful Ankles

I had streph throat back in November. A month later my ankles are extremely painful. I went to my doctor who ran some blood tests. My ASO reading was 399, white count was fine. Now, a month later, my ankles are still extremely painful. Could my levels still be causing this pain?
