Suggest Remedy For Feeling Like Blockage In Throat

I am Resident of Najafgarh, New Delhi. My mother is 72 Years old lady with old history of Diabetes. She thinks that something has stuck in her throat which force her to clear her throat with loud noise. She is has a minor cold problem also. Please suggest
