Suggest Remedy For Fever And Dry Cough

I think I may have the flu, I have had flu symptoms since thursday, my temp going up and down with use of tylenol. It peaked saturday at 103 and is currently close to 101. My cough is dry and never ending. I just don't know if and when I should go to the hospital.
