Suggest Remedy For Flare-ups Of Itching

I had an allergic reaction (hives) after taking amoxicillin for bronchitis and was then given a prednisone taper which lasted 12 days. I then developed hemmorhagic cystitis, went to the ER and was given Levaquin for the cystitis. I then developed tendonitis is both legs and my left arm. I went back to the doctor and was given Macrobid. I am better, but still having flare-ups of itching. What can I do? I am 69 yrs. old and have PPH as well. That, however, is under control.
