Suggest Remedy For Fluid Filled Sores On Legs And Cellulitis While Being Alcoholic

Hello, My uncle is an alcoholic. He is 49 years old. He drinks a 5th of wiskey daily. He is obese. He has difficulty breathing and moving around. He has to sleep sitting up in a chair, because he can t sleep laying down. He has sores on his legs that are fluid filled and leaky. His legs are red, itchy. cellulitis. He is in denial. Is there anything I can do or say to help him? If he goes to the ER, will they help him dry out? Can the infection in his legs be very serious? How can I explain to him how serious it is?
