Suggest Remedy For Foul Discharge From Site Of Injury With Sutures

Hi I was in an accident and I have a cut under my lower lip that penetrated inside as a result I ended up with stitches now my question is how do I stop the funny smell from this stitches because not only does It smell but when I close my mouth it tastes awful like I'm swallowing the yellowish stuff that comes out of it and when I open my mouth again it comes out of the stitches basically there's a deep hole in my gums
