Suggest Remedy For Frequent Cold With Mucus Discharge

My daughter is 3yrs old and seems to get frequent colds. I feel like she has a large amount of mucus. This of course interrupts her sleep at night. Do you think I should have her see an allergist? She has had her adenoids removed and has tubes in her ears.
