Suggest Remedy For Frequent Pain In Knee

My knee has been hurting for about 2 or 3 1/2 weeks. I was wondering if I should go see a doctor. My knee hurts randomly. When I sit down, walk around, and other things, my knee starts to hurt a lot. At school I fell down because of my knee. What should I do?
