Suggest Remedy For Gas And Bloating When Having Hemorrhoids

I have had stage 2 hemorrhoid for over 10 years. They periodically flare up. Currently they are flared up. In addition, I have increased gas and bloating in the stomach. Is this caused by the swollen hemmoroids or could it be irritable bowel syndrome or a gluten sensitivity? I am a 69 year old female in relatively good health.
