Suggest Remedy For Hair Problem

The roots of my hair become very oily, but the lower hair is extremely dry. If I use a shampoo for oily hair, then my scalp does not get cleaned, and if I use one for dry hair, the hair becomes more dry. Many of the conditioners dont suit me either. What can I do about this?
