Suggest Remedy For Hanging Strings Of Marina Coil

I have a marina coil fitted and the strings are hanging out my GP checked it said they were a little bit longer than normal but everything is fine and the strings wasn t hang out there since then I have felt the strings poking my vagina lips not sure what to do as Gp would not trim the strings
