Suggest Remedy For Hardened Nipple Due To Piercing The Nipple

Hi I have an embarrassing question. I was under of the influence of alcohol and some real great "buddies" of mine dared me to pierce my nipple with a safety pin. Not knowing that you are supposed to pierce behind the nipple i went through the actual nipple. It is always rock hard now. It feels like scar tissue built up. Is there any procedures to correct this
