i have a daugther that is 16 with primary amenorrhea - she has low LH, low FSH (flat results from GnRH testing) Free t4 .8, weight gain (unintentional and sudden) of 45 lbs in 7 months - she can't lose weight or even stay the same - cortisol is normal range but urine output was only 674 mm in 24 hrs - she has round face, moody, hot all the time, nausea, abdominal pain sometimes. Few headaches just within the past week or two. Had an MRI and her pituitary is small and assymetrical - 3-4 mm area filled with contrast and is suspicous for an adenoma - saw a neurosurgeon and she says labs arent' bad enough to worry about the adenome so he won't do anything. What do we do next?
