Suggest Remedy For Heaving And Mucus With Cough Causing Throat Pain

i think i have strep throat and have been on penicillin for almost 2 days with no improvement. it has in fact gotten worse, because i have now started heaving and coughing up mucus, which i think is what is causing my throat to hurt more. i also can't really eat anything, and havent had more than 1 meal in 2 days, but i am able to drink fluids, but sometimes cough it up. i also have not been able to breath through my nose for 2 days. is all this normal? what should i do?
